On Thursday the 4th of March, Javier Oliver, Director of AVAP, and Reyes Giner, head of the Quality Service, travelled to Teruel to attend the bilateral meeting between the University Quality and Foresight Agency of Aragon and the Valencian Agency for Assessment and Foresight (Agència Valenciana d’Avaluació i Prospectiva).
The meeting started at 11am and its objective was to exchange information and share the evaluation activities of both agencies. Following the collaboration agreement signed between AVAP and ACPUA in April 2021, the two agencies have been working hand in hand for cooperation in the fields of quality assessment, certification and university accreditation.
The first activity organised under the umbrella of this agreement was the webinar on university evaluation training for students, which took place last November.
The Aragonese Agency was represented by its director, Antonio Serrano, and Isabel Ortega, the Technical Coordinator, who together with the Valencian representatives sought new avenues of collaboration between the two agencies. In addition, the Monitoring Commission of the Agreement was set up and the development of RD 822/2021, the updating of its protocols and guidelines were discussed.
At 13:30 a meeting took place with José Martín-Albo Lucas, Vice-Rector of the Teruel Campus, followed by a tour of the university facilities.
