The Valencian Agency for Assessment and Foresight (AVAP) held a follow-up meeting with the quality areas of the universities in the Valencian Community to share information.
The meeting took place at the AVAP headquarters and had a hybrid format, as universities that could not attend in person participated virtually.
During the meeting, the 2022 Activity Report was presented, and all the actions carried out were reviewed. Moreover, as the main point of the meeting, the new tasks that the Agency will undertake since its inclusion in the EQAR registry were explained.
AVAP is progressing in the management of new tasks, such as degree verification and monitoring, and institutional accreditation. The agency’s goal is to effectively assume this responsibility by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
In this sense, and continuing with the informative meetings, last Tuesday, May 16, AVAP held another meeting with the vice-rectors of studies and quality of the universities of the Valencian Community. This meeting was also attended in person by the Director General of Universities, Pilar Ezpeleta.
