ANECA was present in its role as Coordinator of the Spanish Network of University Quality Assurance Agencies (REACU).
Last Monday 25th April, the Sectorial Teaching Commission of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) organized, together with the University Network of Postgraduate Studies and Continuing Education (RUEPEP), a conference on the Internal Quality Assurance Systems (IQAS) of the university courses leading to Proprietary Degrees.
The event took place at the Puerta de Toledo Campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid. ANECA participated in the conference as a guest speaker, explaining the interpretation that quality assurance agencies make in the field of lifelong learning, focusing on the Royal Decree 640/2021 regarding the configuration of the IQAS of lifelong learning degrees and the preparation of the report for the training masters in order to register them in the Register of Universities, Centres and Degrees (RUCT).
The meeting also highlighted the principle of co-responsibility in quality assurance. This is a principle based on the ability of university institutions to ensure the quality of their internal systems and to include lifelong learning.
Finally, the importance of the dialogue between CRUE, RUEPEP and REACU was highlighted, as it is necessary to facilitate the referrals that allow each university to develop its academic projects. All this within the autonomy they have with respect to the configuration of the training offer and the accompanying role that ANECA and the agencies of the Autonomous Communities can carry out.
