AVAP is the competent agency for evaluating the research activity (six-year research periods or “sexenios”) of faculty members, as well as teaching and research staff employed at universities and research centers within the Valencian Community.
Through the corresponding agreement or contract, following a call for applications by the entity itself and always at the request of the teaching and research staff, AVAP conducts the evaluation of their research activity with its Committees of Experts. This procedure applies the evaluation criteria of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI), which establishes specific criteria for each area of knowledge.
