The general director of AVAP, Javier Oliver, attended the celebration of the 21st anniversary and the inauguration of the new headquarters of ACSUG (Agency for the Quality of the Galician University System) in the Fontán Building of the Cidade da Cultura, in Santiago de Compostela.
The event was also attended by different personalities such as the Regional Minister of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and University of the Galician Government, Román Rodríguez, and the Minister of Universities, Joan Subirats Humet, who congratulated all the agencies dedicated to the quality of the university system in Spain for their enormous dedication and effort via videoconference.
ACSUG, like AVAP, is an agency that was born with a clear objective: to ensure that the Galician university system achieves great prestige and recognition within the national, European and international university context.
Both institutions, together with the rest of the agencies that are spread throughout the different autonomous communities of Spain, participated in the face-to-face meeting of REACU (The Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies) in order to continue adding value to higher education.
