The Valencian Agency for Assessment and Foresight (AVAP) has participated as an “Observer” in the evaluation process of several official university degrees of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), carried out by the prestigious American agency ABET.
Reyes Giner, Head of the Higher Education Quality and Innovation Service, represented AVAP last week as an “Observer” in the evaluation process, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance in education in the region.
The UPV, recognised for its academic excellence, received the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission with the aim of verifying in situ the quality of the 10 programmes accredited by this agency. The main purpose of the visit was to confirm the excellence of the programmes and their consistency with the international standards established by ABET.
