Javier Oliver, General Director of AVAP, participated in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of CREUP. During April 18th and 19th, the Coordinadora de Representantes de Estudiantes de Universidades Públicas (CREUP) celebrated 20 years of work for students’ rights with the premise of building a Public, Free, Quality, and Inclusive University.
This event, held at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, sought to “pay homage to all those who, selflessly, have been part of CREUP, dedicating effort, time, and vocation to the improvement of the daily lives of university students,” as stated by the organizers.
Several technical panels on quality were developed for this event, with the aim of generating an environment for debate and reflection on the quality of higher education. The debate revolved around three topics: Institutional accreditation, quality assurance procedures, and student participation in these quality assurance processes.
Javier Oliver participated in the panel discussing student participation in quality assurance processes, along with the Agencia Canaria de Calidad Universitaria y Evaluación Educativa (ACCUEE) and the Agència per a la Qualitat del Sistema Universitari de Catalunya (AQU Catalunya).
